Restaurant Cafe Smile in Wismar

The best cafe in the old town. Very nice person owner. I like coffee and homemade cakes 🍰 And on cool evenings I recommend mulled wine 🙂

We went to the Smile restaurant this afternoon because we liked the location. We wanted to comfortably enjoy a delicious Aperol Sprizz, unfortunately the drink was anything but tasty, zero sprizz, just watery, not drinkable. If we had a complaint, we were served a new Aperol, which unfortunately didn't sizzle either. We didn't drink it either and complained again when paying, the response from the staff was outrageous: "Corona doesn't taste good either" 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Super tasty whether breakfast or lunch. Friendly and extra requests are also dealt with if possible

The food is very tasty, attentive service, fair prices and home-baked cakes ... we'd love to come back when we're in Wismar ...

Coffee and cake tasted particularly good after a long bike ride. Service extremely friendly.

After we complained about the condition of the crepes (rather a greasy pancake), the service informed us that something like this had happened before. His bonus tip: You don't order something like that at lunchtime (it was 2.30 p.m.) ... he could have told us beforehand. The soft ice cream was very tasty and deserved a bonus star.

Food tasted very good, portion clearly arranged. There was only 1 customer toilet in the basement, not very clean!

Everything is fine except for the toilets. Very small and not pretty. But the food is good and the service is very good.

Had to wait over an hour for our main course. When she arrived the portion wasn't nearly big enough to fill you up. However, it tasted good and the service was nice.

Nice service but waited 1 hour for the food while the neighbor table who came after us already got their food (one of them had what I ordered) ...

Very friendly staff .., very clean there .., tables were always disinfected after use. The food was delicious and fresh. Had chicken schnitzel with fried potatoes and salad on the side. We recommend

Delicious breakfast, sat in the open air. Breakfast selection is OK and everything offered was very good. Buns, jams, sausages, ham, cheese were all really good. But I was missing something creative. Very friendly service.

We knew neither the smile nor the reviews and stumbled into it here. We then learned from the locals that they warmly call it "smiley". We can join that. Extremely friendly service, good coffee and a delicious and lovingly made crepes. We really liked the decor, especially the type of decoration. We'll be back next time.

We went there for breakfast for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. We ordered brekfast for two. The portions were big and so so delicious! Prices is good value for the money. Credit cards accepted. Food was great, staff more than helpful and friendly. Great ambient. The waiter was very helpful and kind.We are coming back

We had great cappuccino and tiramisù 😍. It was great "delicious" stop! We had a chilly time and small chat with shimpatic waiter. Definitely be back. Highly recommend! 💯👌

Exzellent food and a relaxed atmosphere at a good price.

Really good food and service ! Apparently it has a new owner and new concept , so it's more restaurant than Cafe. I recommend the the pasta in general , really delicious and very convenient price. Salads look really nice , but they are prepared in a german style which means they don't have a proper dressing (only oil , salt and pepper if you ask for it ). I hope they add dressings and vinaigrettes soon on the menu . I have been twice already in a couple of days . Definitely my new favourite place in Wismar .
